The site is built on Netstudio's new e-commerce platform. Drupal 8, the foundation, is reliable enough for the most demanding projects. All of Netstudio's mechanisms were designed from scratch for the new platform and brought in the company's years of experience building online stores. The site loads fast and is easy to use, despite its complexity.

Advanced promotions engine
Every offer that runs in the physical MyMarket stores — the ones in the leaflets and the TV ads — is also available on the e-shop. We extended the new Netstudio Promotions engine so it can support every kind of campaign and sync them automatically. Combo offers, multi-buy discounts, free shipping with diaper orders, and many more are live for the customer on the right dates, with no extra workload for the site's admin team.
Availability and delivery options by region
One of the project's biggest challenges was adapting site behavior to the delivery region of each order. Fresh, chilled, and frozen products are only available in Attica, Patras, and Thessaloniki. Product availability and delivery slots vary by serving store. We built mechanisms for managing multiple stocks per product, picking the serving store from the postcode, and defining delivery options per store. We paid extra attention to caching so the per-region content didn't significantly affect load speed.
Netstudio's smart search and filters were a must on a project like this. Filters are even faster, even at high product volume, and search works with greeklish, misspellings, and synonyms. Voice search helps you find what you need faster, and for the first time we added a keyboard shortcut to trigger it.
