Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

This is an unofficial English translation of Netstudio's Greek terms of use and privacy policy. The Greek version is the binding legal text. In case of any conflict or ambiguity, the Greek version prevails.

Terms of Use

BY USING THE NETSTUDIO WEBSITE (AND ITS CONTENT) AND/OR ITS PRODUCTS AND/OR ITS SERVICES, YOU UNCONDITIONALLY ACCEPT ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT FOLLOW WITHOUT EXCEPTION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE OR DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THEM, DO NOT USE NETSTUDIO'S PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.

The intellectual property rights of the content (programs, information, data) on this website are protected by Greek, EU and international laws on intellectual and industrial property and belong exclusively to Netstudio (Netstudio E.E.) and/or to the respective intellectual creator. Any reproduction or dissemination of the content by any means or for any use is permitted only with the prior written consent of Netstudio or of the intellectual creator or rightsholder.

The presence on the website of images, logos, names, marks etc. that represent Netstudio or third-party rightsholders shall under no circumstances be construed as a transfer or grant of any licence or right to use them, given that they are protected under trademark law.

Netstudio does not warrant or accept liability for the accuracy or correctness of information the user receives through its network, nor for any delay or inability to use its network, nor for any errors during the transfer of data or information (file destruction, virus storage, etc.).

Any reference or link to other websites is provided for the user's convenience. Netstudio does not warrant or accept liability for the content, products or services provided (whether advertised or sold) on those websites. Any transactions between the user and third parties found on or through a netstudio.gr page, including payment for and delivery of products, services and any other terms, provisions, authorisations or representations relating to such transactions, take place between the user and the third-party business. Netstudio is therefore neither competent nor responsible for any losses or damages of any kind arising from such transactions.

Netstudio expressly states that the user bears sole responsibility for the choice, storage, installation and use of the functions of the software products made available through its website. The limitations of Netstudio's liability towards You apply whether or not Netstudio has been informed, or ought to have known, of the possibility of any such losses.

No advice or information, whether oral or written, that you have received from Netstudio through its services constitutes a warranty.

Use of the Netstudio website must be exclusively for lawful purposes and in a manner that (a) does not impede its use by third parties, (b) complies with the law and good morals, and (c) does not cause damage to the services provided or to the network that provides and supports them.

Netstudio reserves the right to request proof of compliance with these criteria when accessing all (or some) of its services or products, in the form of identification or contact details.

Personal Data Protection

Netstudio places the highest priority on the protection of your personal data and complies with the legislation in force from the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Law 2472/97) applicable to personal-data databases, as well as with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and is committed to applying them in full by adopting appropriate technical and administrative measures.

Netstudio has implemented technical measures to protect personal data during transmission, handling and storage. The nature of the internet, however, means that nothing can guarantee absolute protection. For that reason you can also reach us through alternative channels (e.g. by phone). Phone calls may be recorded and analysed with AI.

We make sure to collect only data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was given, and we use it solely for the purposes for which it was collected. With the exception of any data collected from cookies, the data is limited to what you have provided explicitly and for a specific purpose, and only where you have given your consent. We also collect data during your visit to our website where you have consented to this, with consent inferred from your completion of the relevant fields.

The processing of your data is carried out in accordance with:

  1. the terms of our contractual relationship,
  2. your consent, where required,
  3. Netstudio's obligations arising from law (e.g. tax, labour, social-security legislation, etc.), and
  4. Netstudio's legitimate interest.

The processing of your data is carried out by specifically authorised personnel of Netstudio and its affiliated companies, by Netstudio's IT systems and electronic devices, by AI (artificial intelligence systems), and exceptionally by third parties who, having committed contractually to Netstudio to maintain confidentiality and protect your data, process it solely for the purposes for which it has been provided to us.

Cookies

For the smooth operation of its websites, Netstudio uses cookies. Cookies are text files stored by the user's browser on their computer. With cookies, Netstudio can offer services that wouldn't be possible without them.

Netstudio may use software such as Google Analytics to analyse page usage, page interactions and the routes followed through its websites.

Users can delete cookies from their browser, and disable them entirely.

More information about cookies, how to manage and delete them, is available at www.aboutcookies.org.

Collection of general data and information

While using the Netstudio site, information such as the user's IP, browser, operating system, the date and time of each request to our servers, the referrer and other similar information is collected and stored in server log files. This information cannot identify the user, but is needed to monitor the smooth operation of our servers, optimise our advertising and provide information to the authorities in the event of cyberattacks.

Newsletter sign-up and contact forms

On the Netstudio site, users can sign up to our newsletter, get in touch via the contact form or the form requesting our pricelist and other materials, send their CV, etc. In these cases the email, name, date and time of submission and the user's IP are stored on our server, and also on an external newsletter service such as MailChimp, Brevo and others, and the sending of informational and educational emails begins. With every send the recipient has the option to stop receiving further emails by unsubscribing from the newsletter in question.

Netstudio's informational and educational emails contain tracking pixels that allow statistical analysis of the success or failure of each send. From the tracking pixel we can see whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.

If you request a quote for a website build or an advertising campaign through the contact form, your details are stored in our CRM (Pipedrive.com) and/or our ERP, for processing by Netstudio's sales team.

If the user is under 16 years old, they must obtain parental consent before signing up to the newsletter.

Blog comments

Users of our sites can leave comments on our blog. In that case the name, email, date and time of submission and IP are stored on our servers. If another user leaves a comment on a blog post where previous users have already commented, the previous users are notified by email of the new comment. This is needed so they can respond promptly.

Submitting a CV and registering with our candidate evaluation system

If you send us your CV to work at Netstudio or register with our new-candidate evaluation system (Join), you'll be asked for personal information such as date of birth, place of residence, personal interests, previous employers, work history, education etc. This data is stored on our servers and is not shared with third parties unless you choose for us to recommend you to third parties for a working relationship.

User rights

Users of Netstudio's pages, as data subjects, retain the following rights: (a) right of access, (b) right to rectification, (c) right to erasure, (d) right to restriction of processing, (e) right to object to processing, (f) right to data portability, (g) right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, (h) right to be informed about rectification or erasure of personal data or restrictions on processing, (i) right to be informed in the event of a personal data breach and (j) right to withdraw consent for the processing of personal data.

You can withdraw your consent at any time in writing by sending your request to info@netstudio.gr.

An exception applies where some of this data must be retained for tax reasons, e.g. if we have invoiced one of our services, in which case the data must remain in our accounting system and in the records of the accounting firm that supports us.

Personal data for the delivery of our services

You may be asked for personal data so we can deliver services to you, such as hosting, domain registration etc. This data is provided for the purpose of delivering the service to the relevant providers, name registries, SSL issuers, server providers etc.

Statistical analysis of traffic data

Behaviour data on our sites, such as which pages are visited, time on page, referrer, visit frequency etc., is stored in third-party services such as Google Analytics for the purpose of improving Netstudio's marketing. This data does not personally identify users. These third-party services store cookies in order to operate.

Remarketing

For advertising purposes, traffic data is provided to third-party services such as Google and Facebook for the purpose of showing ads on third-party sites.

Payment method: data protection provisions

If the data subject chooses to pay by credit or debit card, we automatically transmit the data subject's data to the corresponding payment provider chosen. By selecting credit or debit card payment, the data subject unreservedly agrees to the transmission of the personal data required to process payments. The transmission of data serves the processing of payments and the prevention of fraud. Banking secrecy provisions apply.

Transaction Security

Recognising the importance of secure electronic payments, we use the most secure payment methods available, including EveryPay, Stripe, PayPal and others.

EveryPay is a Payment Institution licensed by the Bank of Greece (decision no. 280/3/23-7-2018, Government Gazette B 3010/25-7-2018), and securely manages card payment transaction data in accordance with the regulatory framework of the card transaction security management standard. Everypay is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). All Everypay services run over secure connections with 256-bit SSL certificates. EveryPay also supports the 3D Secure service, an additional security check for VISA and MasterCard cards. The Payer then needs to enter their personal secret code to successfully complete the transaction.

Data Security: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification

As part of our ongoing effort to protect the information we handle, Netstudio EE is certified to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. You can download the certificate here.

Refunds

If you purchase and prepay services such as support credits, you have the right within 30 days, and provided they have not been used, to request a cancellation of the transaction and a refund of your money.

Cooperation with the authorities

Personal data may be disclosed to judicial, police and other administrative authorities upon their lawful request and in accordance with the legislative provisions in force from time to time.

We update this policy whenever necessary. If there are significant changes to the privacy policy or the way we use your personal data, we will publish the update on our website and notify you by any appropriate means.

We encourage you to read this policy and the terms of use regularly.

For questions about the control and processing of personal data, as well as for requests for a copy or for deletion, you can email info@netstudio.gr.

Use of the Netstudio website requires the user's unconditional acceptance of the above terms. The terms may change without notice. Any change will be published on this page.
