My first encounter with a computer was back in 1988, with an Apple IIe at my father's office. I spent hours playing the classic Sabotage on that iconic green screen. In 1994, I got my first personal computer running MS-DOS 5.22. Soon after, I started tinkering with programming in Visual Basic 4.0 on Windows 3.11. While studying at the University of Piraeus, in the Department of Digital Systems with a focus on Electronic Services Systems, I got hands-on with projects for friends and acquaintances. My thesis was all about building a Comic Strip Creator using Microsoft Silverlight and C#.
But all that felt like just a warm-up once I met Netstudio in May 2011. Knowledge turned into passion, and passion into creation. I feel lucky to have a hand in Netstudio's "magic recipe" and, together with the team, we build the Internet, one page at a time.
Over the last 10 years, eCommerce has changed completely. Projects have become more demanding and complex. Speed and reliability are top priorities. Choosing a custom platform was the only way forward. Now, all our demanding projects run on Netstudio's platform and load at record speeds.
After 14 years at Netstudio, having worked as a Web Developer, Project Manager, and Technical Account Manager, I now serve as Digital Strategy Director. I focus on our clients' overall success in eCommerce and their entire digital presence, making sure their marketing strategy lines up with technical excellence.
