My first encounter with computers was back in 1986. My best friend and I got a Spectrum ZX 48K and a Commodore 64. Sure, we played games, but those machines also pulled us into programming with BASIC and LOGO. Later, I got an Amiga 500, which opened the door to the world of BBS (Bulletin Board Systems). With a 2400 bps modem, we connected to the early internet. GATE, AcroBase, and the other online communities of 1990. Professionally, I moved into sales, marketing, and advertising. Through all those years, programming and surfing the web were hobbies that turned into a passion. In 2005, I took the leap and started working with the internet full time by founding Netstudio. At first, I built simple static sites. Then came dynamic sites and online apps with Mambo, Joomla, CakePHP, and Drupal. Since 2019, we've focused on our own e-commerce platform, building over 80 e-shops on it, including MyMarket, BSB, Pink Woman, MEVGAL, and Viologiko Chorio.
Along the way, besides websites and e-shops, we've developed and supported plenty of client startups, as well as our own projects: userfeel.com, seolazy.com, visibility.gr, and more.
