monastiriaka.gr is celebrating 13 years online with an upgrade to Netstudio’s e-commerce platform!
The physical store is in Dafni, Mount Athos, and welcomes visitors and orders from all over the world.
The project’s high demands and the vision to spread Athonite tradition further brought them to Netstudio.
We designed and built a modern, user-friendly, and functional e-shop that meets demanding standards while keeping the traditional atmosphere and textures of Mount Athos.
We added new features to make things easier for users and expanded the admin panel with tools that speed up product collection and shipping.
We paid special attention to dark mode during development. This is one of the few sites where we included it from the start.
Global interest in Athonite products led to the We ship to "flag" feature. Visitors from anywhere instantly see if we ship to their country.
For example, if the IP is in America, the English version loads and We ship to ?? appears.
We also connected the shop with IRIS and DHL for more payment and shipping options.
On top of that, the e-shop now offers:

- Recommended products in every first and second level menu category
- Custom icon order form
- Cross sell in the cart
- Findastic™ smart search and filters
- Voice search
- Courier selection at checkout
- Gift order with custom message at checkout
We also added admin features that make organizing products and orders simpler:
- Clone product
- Quick edit
- Bulk voucher printing (DHL, ACS & Geniki Taxydromiki)
- Report of products in selected orders to help with picking
- Choose which filters show up on each category page
