DPAM on Netstudio’s Custom Platform

dpam

DPAM Hellas, one of the leading children's fashion retail chains, now runs on the custom platform by Netstudio, bringing together a unified experience for both its e-shop and physical stores.

This project goes beyond a typical e-shop launch. The platform was designed to connect online and physical stores, the loyalty program, and all the brand’s core business processes.

When the e-shop works together with the physical stores

For DPAM, the e-shop isn’t just an online extension. It’s a key part of a single experience for customers across both digital and physical stores.

This required integration with systems like inventory management for products and sizes, order fulfillment from stores, real-time stock updates, and loyalty mechanisms that reward customers everywhere.

The customer can pick up orders from any store, check availability at their preferred location, and even buy coupons that can be redeemed in physical stores or online.

Additionally, the platform includes business tools like the Visual Merchandiser, which lets DPAM’s team manage product placement by season, promotional priorities, and custom display rules. This way, the team can instantly apply changes across all stores, both online and offline, keeping the e-shop in sync with in-store promotions and energy-saving campaigns.

Tools that support daily store operations

One of the features that stood out for DPAM was that the interface didn’t just serve the end customer on the e-shop, but also offered specialized tools and automations for the staff supporting daily operations, order management, and barcode scanning.

For example, specialized WMS tools help the store team manage inventory, streamline order processing, and support barcode scanning for fast and accurate fulfillment.

Speed, high usability, and smooth user experience

For a brand like DPAM, the platform had to deliver a top-notch browsing and shopping experience, but also make it easy to manage high usability, especially during peak commercial periods like sales, holidays, and promotional events.

Speed doesn’t just affect how quickly a visitor navigates the front-end. It also directly impacts the overall site usability and the platform’s ability to handle high traffic and complex business processes.

Good technical foundation and SEO

The custom platform by Netstudio was built with a strong technical foundation for SEO. With flexible editing in the admin and clean code behind the scenes, dpam.gr now has the structure needed for effective optimization and organic growth.

What we learned from this project

The DPAM project taught us to look at every detail: from the smallest technical issue to the business needs of the client.

For DPAM, this meant that the interface couldn’t just be a simple e-shop. It had to function as a hub connecting the online store, physical stores, loyalty program, business tools, and daily store operations.

Technically, the project’s complexity challenged us to design solutions that serve DPAM’s needs, support the e-shop, and strengthen the brand’s retail network.
